MasTec, Inc. Announces Redemption of Outstanding 7.625% Senior Notes due 2017

CORAL GABLES, Fla., March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MasTec, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) announced today that it is calling for redemption all of its outstanding 7.625% senior notes due 2017 (the "2017 Notes") not purchased in its previously announced tender offer, with a redemption date of April 1, 2013 (the "Redemption Date").  The CUSIP numbers for the 2017 Notes are 576323AF6, 576323AE9 and U5759TAB1.  Upon redemption, holders of the 2017 Notes being redeemed will receive 102.542% of the principal amount thereof (or $1,025.42 per $1,000 in principal amount of the 2017 Notes) plus accrued interest from and including the most recent interest payment date to, but not including, the Redemption Date. MasTec will fund the redemption of the 2017 Notes using a portion of the proceeds from the previously announced sale of its $400.0 million aggregate principal amount of 4.875% Senior Notes due 2023, which were issued today.

A notice of redemption is being mailed to all registered holders of the 2017 Notes.  Copies of the Notice of Redemption may be obtained from U.S. Bank National Association, the paying agent, by calling (800) 934-6802 (U.S. toll-free).
