MasTec Files Registration Statement for Follow-On Offering

(NYSE: MTZ) today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission covering a proposed primary offering by it of $150 million of its common stock. The Company expects to use the net proceeds it will receive from this offering for long-term debt reduction of between $75 to $100 million, general corporate purposes, including working capital, capital expenditures, organic growth and acquisitions.

Morgan Stanley and Friedman Billings Ramsey will act as joint book-running managers, and Needham & Company, LLC and Kaufman Bros., L.P. will act as co- managers of the offering.
