Prior to being named Group President of MasTec Brazil, Mr. Alvarez served as Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Development, and Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at MasTec, Inc. based in Miami, FL. Mr. Alvarez obtained his Juris Doctorate Law degree at the University of Miami and has a Masters of Science in Finance from Florida International University
